Jingle Hop and Candy Cane Holders

Welcome everyone to the "Jingle Hop".

From today, through to December 7th Lettering Delights is having a "Jingle Hop" featuring Christmas projects by various designers (including me!) with FREEBIES along the way.

Hopefully, you have just arrived to my blog from Beckie @ www.www.happycardfactory.com

For my project in the "Jingle Hop" I have made these candy cane holders using my Pazzles Inspiration Creative Cutter with some Little Ho-Ho-Ho-ligans Cut It's sets from LD.

I used a lollipop holder .wpc file which is available if you subscribe to the Pazzles Craftroom.  I adapted it slightly, so that there is an additional hole at the top of the holder to poke the candy cane through.

Although, the holder was originally for lollipop holders, I thought it worked well with these candy canes which I bought locally in the UK.

I imported the svg's into my Pazzles Studio Pro software, resized them and printed them off.  On this occasion, I used a circle and scallop punch to cut out the image but, this could easily be done with your cutting machine using the Print & Cut method.

Click here, to take you to the adorable Little Ho-Ho-Ho-ligans cut it sets used in this project or take a look here at the latest released sets of cutting files and graphics.

BEFORE, you continue the "Jingle Hop" you may want to enter the contest at LD with a chance to win a new KNK Zing Cutting Machine!

To be eligible to enter the contest you will NEED to have a LD account to enter the codes.

Please note that the "Jingle Hop" entries to win a Zing closes on December 7th, midnight MST.

Now a blog hop would not be complete without some FREEBIES......

  11. Hi Joanna

What a great blog hop this has been - especially as I love LD and have had an account for a fair amount of time now - and practically buy something each week!

All the projects you ladies have done have been great and I've loved reading all the associated tutorials. These candy cane holders are fab - but I'd have to hide them quite high up the tree (when I get round to putting it up), because I have a naughty little Shih Tzu who might like to get his hands (or rather, paws) on those candy canes!!!

Thanks for your tutorial and for the freebie too... funny thing is, when I was buying some more graphics in the $1 sale earlier - I kept looking at the little Ho Holigans but got something else instead (I was trying to stick to $10)...

    happy crafting
