Handbag Shaped Card

I just wanted to show you how easy these CUT IT SIMPLE SHAPES from Lettering Delights are to use.

I have used the GLAMOUR SET for this handbag shaped card.  I  downloaded and imported the .pdf file into my Pazzles Inspiration.  I used the MATROYOSHKA cut it tiles for the paper, designed my card and hit cut!!!!

I didn't want to dress the card up too much as I wanted to just show you how a simple shape like this can make such a quick card.

Here you can see the lovely MATRYOSHKA TILE in more detail.  I rooted through my stash of ribbons, tied a bow and added this divine pearl and rhinestone embellishment bought on-line here.

Take a look at the collection of all the CUT IT TILES here and the CUT IT'S SIMPLE SHAPES SUPER BUNDLE here.

Milk Carton template, cutting file - GIVEAWAY!

Sadly, my term has come to an end as a member of  the Design Team at The Cutting Cafe but I have finished with this adorable HALLOWEEN MILK CARTON and PLAIN MILK CARTON template, cutting file which I have cut out on my Pazzles Inspiration.  The HALLOWEEN file comes with 8 different window cut outs which comes in the following formats: WPC, PDF AND SVG.

HALLOWEEN

As soon as I saw this ghost cut out I thought of using this Happy Haunting Girls digi paper from Pink Petticoat and the coordinated star paper for the Plain Milk Carton.

For the sentiment on the tag I used the printable set of GOT MILK CARTON SENTIMENTS which includes 21 images. There are 7 different sentiments in different sizes and go perfectly well with the MILK CARTON TEMPLATES.

You will be pleased to know that the scattering of marshmallows and the rest of the bag were demolished very quickly by my 3 children......then the sugar rush kicked in!!!!

****************

So there we are, my final Monthly Inspiration at The Cutting Cafe for this term and here is a GIVEAWAY. Just leave a comment as to what you think about my project using the HALLOWEEN MILK CARTON template, cutting file or PLAIN MILK CARTON set and I will randomly choose 1 person to WIN one of these Milk Carton sets.  All comments to be posted by Friday, 2nd September and I will announce the winner on  Saturday, 3rd September.

Splish! Splash! - Swimsuit Shaped Card

Having had a couple of glorious days at the seaside I decided to take a look again at the Soak up the Sun SVG's from Lettering Delight.

As I was tidying up my messy pile of cardstock I came across this gorgeous KaiserCraft paper from the Candy Lane Collection which I purchased on line here.

I cut the shaped card on my Pazzles Inspiration and it worked out just how I imagined it!  I used pink Bazzill cardstock for the base of the swimsuit and flower,  I then cut and rolled a tiny flower and added a pearl for the centre.

The greeting was computer generated, punched out and tied with some bakers twine.

This card was made in minutes and I can see that I will be making a batch of these for my daughter's swimming party coming up very soon.  Just think of all the lovely papers I can use to decorate the swimsuit!

Lettering Delights - Tuesday Deal

It's August 23rd and summer is sadly almost puttering to an end. Lettering Delights have Two for End of Summer Two for Tuesday Deal, where you can get two SVG's, Backyard Fun and Soak Up the Sun for just $4! Offer ends Monday at midnight MST

Baby Buggy Shaped Card - Lettering Delights

I needed to make a baby card for a friend who has recently given birth to a gorgeous baby girl.  So, I headed over to Lettering Delights to get this digi paper and buggy shape cut file for my Baby Buggy Shaped Card.

I recently purchased the Baby - Cut It Simple Shapes from Lettering Delights which are great to use with my Pazzles Inspiration or similar die cutting machines.  The Lettering Delights Simple Shapes are a type of Cut It File. They have a single layer. Cut Its were designed for use with personal die-cut machine software. Formats included with this set: .AI (v.8), .DXF, .EPS (v.8), .GSD, .PDF (v.1.5), .SVG

So, once you have purchased and downloaded your file, you need to import the .pdf version into your Pazzles Inspiration and there you have your cuttable file.

This Baby - Cut It Simple Shape is, as it sounds, simple,  as there are no layers to it.  Just mirror, duplicate and weld your buggy shape and you are done.  I actually added an extra layer so you don't see the fold on the card.

For this project I used the Be My Baby - Paper Pack which I printed on my printer, just perfect to accompany this baby cut file.  They also do some blue and yellow papers in the collection.

Then I just added some buttons for the wheels, a bow and a heart shape rhinestone pearl and I am done ready to see the new baby tomorrow.

To purchase these files click here for the Baby - Cut It Simple Shapes and click here for the Be My Baby - Paper Pack.

Have FUN!

Gumball Shaped Card

Next week's monthly inspiration by the Design Team at The Cutting Cafe, is using one of the 3 Gumball sets.  For this card I picked the Gumball Shaped Card.

This GUMBALL MACHINE is approx. 6 by 3.5 inches. The set comes with 10 sentiments, 16 greetings in gumball circles, 2 clustered gumballs (big and small) and 2 different invite images. Plus the set comes with a matching envelope.

The set comes in the following formats: PDF, WPC AND SVG.

For the orange background paper I have used one of the Matryoshka Tiles - cut it tiles from Lettering Delights.  I have resized the tile and saved the tile as a .jpg into my Textures folder in my $99 Pazzles Inspiration.

Electronic Die Cutter 468x60

Cutting Cafe Monthly Inspiration - using silhouette set

Here is my card for The Cutting Cafe monthly inspiration.  Regina Easter asked the Design Team to use the FUN WITH SILHOUETTE set.

The set includes 66 images and at first I really didn't know where to start but once I got going I had so many ideas.  This set is super easy to use and I am sure to use it again.

I have also cut my base card using a shaped file from Lettering Delights using my Pazzles Inspiration.

This sentiment is also from The Cutting Cafe which is from a printable set called ELISHA JEAN AND FRIENDS. For the background paper I used a TILE from Lettering Delights which was free last week!  It took me a while how to use the TILE in my Pazzles Inspiration.  I eventually worked out how to use the TILES but with practise they will be great fun to use my projects.

Be sure to check out the Design Team's inspiration during this week on the new blog.

I have entered this card into the following challenges:-

I did it creations challenge - different shaped card
Delightful Inspiration - Pink and Black
If the shoe fits Scrap It - Green
Digi Doodle Shop Challenge - Shaped Card

Been away!

I haven't posted for a while as we have been away for a few days with the family.

We went camping to the New Forest in the south of England.

Everywhere you looked there were wild horses roaming around free to go where they wanted...even around the camp sites and into your tent if you didn't watch them!

Luckily the weather was great and we had a wonderful time together.

Just need to finish off a card today and take photo when the sun comes out!
