At the Pazzles Craft Room the April Challenge is ready for your entries.
The Challenge this month is "To create or do something new with your Pazzles Inspiration".
I decided to have a go at using the embossing tool and was over the moon with my success. I had purchased the embossing tool and embossing mat months ago. I hadn't tried it out properly because I was too scared to prepare the mat, sounds silly, but true.
So, I logged onto the Pazzles Craft Room and found a fantastic video tutorial by Christine, in the Tools and Accessories section, that showed me just how to prepare my mat and use my Pazzles Embossing tool.
I found a Scallop Circle doily flower in the Pazzles Craft Room which was just perfect as an embellishment to the pillow box.
I first embossed the Core'dinations cardstock and cut the doily out. When I removed it from my embossing mat I sanded it down gently.....result!
I carefully cut a slit from the edge of the doily to the centre and overlapped it slightly to give a cupped effect.
I then cut out my Pillow Box and leaves, and assembled my project.
Supplies used:-
Electronic Die Cutting Machine - Pazzles Inspiration Creative Cutter
Pazzles Inspiration Embossing Tool & Embossing Mat
Pillow Box, Doily & Leaves - Pazzles Craft Room
Kaisercraft Bundle of Joy - The Mulberry Bush
Cordinations Cardstock - Flutterby Crafts
I am glad that I have entered this project into the Pazzles April Challenge as it gave me the push to "challenge myself" at having a go at trying my embossing tool and mat that may have otherwise be still sat in the cupboard!
Having tried this challenge I am excited to try out more projects using my Pazzles Tools.
