Penny Spinner Card

Celebrating National Scrapbook Day, Pazzles asked me to design a card for their Scrapbook Day Party.  I do not usually design cutting files, but thought I would have a go, and challenge 

myself by making a Penny Spinner Card using my Pazzles software.

It was a lot easier than I thought and really fun to make.

The greeting cut beautifully using my Pazzles Inspiration Creative Cutter.

You could replace the pinwheel with any cutting file from the Pazzles Craft Room Library (subscription required).

Simple but fun, using 2 pennies.

National Scrapbooking Day Party for all die cutters!

Are you ready for the Pazzles National Scrapbooking Day Party?  You don't need to have a Pazzles Inspiration but, if you are interested in die cutting, or have a similar electronic cutting machine you should take a peep at the details HERE.

Every hour Pazzles will post a new cutting file on the blog. They will have a little bit of everything… scrapbook layouts, cards, and maybe some dimensionals! Files will be available in WPC, AI, and SVG formats for you to download.Here’s the catch: the files will only be available for one hour! If you don’t download it during that hour, you will have missed out.

What's exciting for me is that one of my card designs will be highlighted during the day!

Graduation Hat Gift Box

Over at the Pazzles Craft Room the challenge for May is to create a project with graduation in mind.  My children have not reached that age yet, but it will be fast approaching, and I am looking forward to seeing a ton of inspirational projects in the challenge gallery.

I have used a Graduation Hat Gift Box which is available for FREE, 

to members of the Pazzles Craft Room.

I have used double sided paper to create the base of my gift box.  I decided to fill it with chocolate coins but you could fill it with anything.  I thought it would make nice favor boxes for a Graduation Party.  

Remember you can resize the box to what ever size you wish on a 12" x 12" mat.

The Graduation Hat Gift Box is easy to assemble.  I decided to add a rosette and scallop for the centre.  I visited my local fabric shop and bought a small curtain tassel which I attached behind the rosette   Finally, I added a black button and rhinestone gem.

Superhero Cookie Tags - Labels

Here is another quick project using the Superhero Collection from LD.

I  used the .pdf format to print out my sheet of 12 labels using my printer menu.  I then used a metal die to cut around the shapes with my Cuttlebug.  If I was doing a ton of these I would have imported the .pdf into my Pazzles software then Print & Cut the sheet.

Of course these labels can be used for cake toppers, labels for bags 
and drinks, badges etc.

Superhero Collection - Party Printables

I just love the Superhero Collection available at the moment at LD.  If you have a young man who is about to have a party, and he loves Superhero's then this is for you.

I have used the Superhero Potpourri set for my project which comes with a ton of party printables for you to print direct from your printer using the .pdf format.  

A sheet of circle labels comes in a number of designs.  All you need to do is print, punch out the circle and there you have a cake topper, decorative label, badge etc.

 I also printed out the party hat and cut around the printable using my scissors (super easy).  Of course you could import the images into your cutting machine software, resize and cut.....lots of options.

Cut and Fold Borders Collection

Flower Flourish Shaped Card - Mother's Day

In the UK we have already celebrated Mother's Day but, for those of you in the USA or any other part of the world yet to celebrate......this card is for you.

I made a circle shaped card in my software and welded it together.  I personally like to put a topper to hide the fold but this is my preference.  I then made a in-line or my original circle shape and another to give me the thin patterned circle trim.

Using my software I typed my own sentiment then Print & Cut the banner onto patterned paper.

I love this delicate flourish which cut out beautifully using my cutter.  I simply added a pearl and rhinestone gem to the centre of the flower flourish and used my white pen to add some doodling.

I found this flower flourish in the SVG clearance sale on cuttable product at LD 

which is available through April.

All their "SVG" branded product is now on sale for $1 each!
