Happy Days - Merry Monster

I love this card, it just makes me smile!  I have Print & Cut the Merry Monsters - Cut It Set  from Lettering Delights.  The Cut It's sets are designed specifically with cutting machines in mind and each set includes several different file formats (ai, dxf, eps, gsd, jpg, pdf and svg).

I have cut all the elements for the card using my Pazzles Inspiration Creative Cutter.

Get the Pazzles Inspiration, the most comprehensive cartridge-free electronic die cutter available, for as little as 99 dollars down.

I made a rectangle card and wanted to add bit of interest, so I made a large curved corner.  It's easy to do...... just draw a rectangle in your software, select the corner option which I made of a value of 1.  Then I selected MIRROR - DUPLICATE, ACCORDING TO left in the TRANSFORMATION menu and selected WELD.  Now, you have a different simple, look to a card.

I then  Print & Cut the cute monster, and paper pieced the umbrella together with the eyelid. You can see below how it looked on my visual mat using my Pazzles or similar software.

I also print & cut the sentiment onto my digital paper.  I love the flexibility of being able to do this with my software and cutter, as it saves me lots of money rather than buying 'one off 'stamps that I might never use again.

In the above photo you can see my paper piecing of the umbrella and eyelid which I layered using Stix2 craft foam pads.

Files used :
White pen
Kraft Card
Canon Printer
