Acorn Shaped Card

Just sharing a simple Acorn shaped card using my Pazzles Inspiration.  We have an Oak tree just outside the edge of our garden and the acorns are dropping on the grass like rainfall here in the UK.  Looks like I will have to get out in the garden with the kids at the weekend and rake up the little acorns before we have a forest of Oak trees!

This was a super quick card to put together.  I simply duplicated the outline/shadow cut, mirrored and welded it together to make my base card.

The card wouldn't stand up on it's own but this is simply resolved.  Just cut a horizontal line using your paper trimmer at the base of the back folded card base.  Ta da......it now stands perfectly as shown in the above picture.

Just a little twine, a punched flower with a self adhesive pearl added to the centre.

Please note that the Acorn cutting file is now available in .wpc and .svg file formats in the Pazzles Library.

Supplies:-

Cutting Machine - Pazzles Inspiration
Patterned papers - Kaisercraft
Twine (brown and golden)
Self adhesive pearls - Kaisercraft
 Brown cardstock

  2. What a cute card and thanks for the tip about cutting the back piece to allow the card to stand up. I've done some shaped cards in the past - never even crossed my mind to cut the back!
