Funky Flower canvas bag

I have used a flower from the Pazzles Funky Flower collection to make this pretty embellishment for my canvas bag.

It was super easy to cut out and I simply added a paper flower to the centre, from my craft stash.  A quick project to dress up a canvas bag.

Cut It Up Challenge - #79 Sports

It is with heavy heart that I have decided to take a break as Design Team member for the Cut It Up Challenge Blog, and today is my last project.  I have enjoyed it immensely and got to know the most generous crafter's whilst on the Design Team, but I now need to focus on my own health, work and family leading up to Christmas.

A sports themed project including a die cut.

My 15 year old daughter LOVES playing tennis and nothing gives me greater pleasure watching her play in local tennis matches during the weekends.  So, I couldn't resist making this little gift box for her, which I have filled with some goodies.  All the files are available from the Pazzles Craft Room.

front of my box using craft foam pads.

Teacher Pencils - Back To School

For those of you that follow my blog, know that during the week I work as a Teaching Assistant in a local Primary School.  Here in the UK, we went back to school today!  I work in the Reception Department of the school with the adorable new intake of squeaky clean  4-5 year olds!

So, I thought I would welcome back to school the 3 teachers in my department with some Rolo Gift Wrapped Teacher Pencils.  Knowing teachers, they will want to open the packet by the time their coffee break has arrived!!

There are a ton of YouTube video tutorials, but I decided that I would Print and Cut my gifts so that I could personalise each one.  I used the Quick and Easy Valentine Pencil cutting file available in the projects section of the Pazzles Craft Room.  Check out the link (above) which gives further details.

I laid my gingham paper onto my cutting mat.  I typed and positioned the teacher's names on the main part of the pencil wrapper.  I then Print and Cut using the registration marks and the unique Pazzles Print and Cut mat with my Pazzles Inspiration Vue cutting machine.

It is easy to assemble the project using your printed paper, Hershey Kiss, Rollo tube, silver, and pink cardstock, for the eraser. Adhere your Hershey Kiss to one end of the Rolo, then roll the wrapper around the chocolate candy, then adhere you pink and silver cardstock to the other end.

I am a Cut It Up - Design Team Member!

I am super excited to share with you that I have been selected to be on the
Cut It Up Challenge Design Team!

Yikes, what am I doing?  Since being on the Pazzles Craft Room Design Team for the last 2 years I decided to take a break.  Only, two months later I am missing the crafting experience of being part of a team, and applied to the recent DT call out at Cut It Up ,,,,,,,and was accepted!!!!  What I love about this team is that we are like minded crafter's with a passion for die cutting machines.

So, here is my 1st Design Team project for the Cut It Up Challenge Blog using my Pazzles cutting machine.  The theme is Paper Piecing, that is to layer a patterned paper on a stamp and include a die cut in your project. So, I will explain....... 

My shaped base card is cutting file available in svg, wpc and ai file formats in the Pazzles Craft Room using the Spring Card Cutting Collection which includes a whole collection of cutting files for various cutting machines.

I cut another piece using patterned paper and adhered it to my base Kraft card. I then stamped my scallop heart and leaves onto the patterned paper.  I stamped the inner heart onto different patterned paper and coloured some of the flowers using my colouring pens.  I paper pieced this to the centre of the scalloped heart using foam squares.

I then cut out a paper bow using my Pazzles cutting machine and added a pearl embellishment to the centre.

At first I struggled with this theme as I don't own many stamps, but I am so pleased at how it turned out.  I may even make a few more for my friends!

Easter Egg Gift Box

Today, it is with great sadness that I am here to announce, this is my final Design Team project for Pazzles.  I have been a Design Team member for the last 2 years and enjoyed every minute of it. I have learnt so much more about the Pazzles Studio Pro 2014 and Pazzles InVue software, creating projects and blogging about them.  I hope you have enjoyed seeing them all, and they have inspired you to "have a go" at making some of the projects using the cutting files
available in the Pazzles Craft Room.

For my Easter Egg Gift Box I used the Cookie Box cutting file, which is available in the
Pazzles Craft Room Library in wpc and svg file formats.

I resized the Cookie Box using my Pazzles InVue software.

Daffodil Window Box

I love Springtime. The weather in the UK is not too hot and it's not too cold, but best of all, I LOVE daffodils.  Looking out of my kitchen window, while washing the dishes, I admire the daffodils bursting into bloom.  So, I was inspired to create this Daffodil Window Box for my latest Pazzles Design Team project using my Pazzles Inspiration Vue cutting machine.

It was super easy to make using cutting files found in the Pazzles Craft Room Library.

Once, I had created my daffodils, I couldn't resist doing a quick Print and Cut of the cute little birds in the nest.  Using my Pazzles Inspiration Vue which has an optical eye, makes it quick and easy to create Print and Cut toppers.

St Patrick's Day Gift Box

I made this little St Patrick's Day gift box last year and thought I would repost to remind you how quick and easy it is to use your Pazzles Cutting Machine such a simple gift.  You will see from the photos that I left the top open to hold the chocolate gifts.  The beauty with using your cutting machine is that you can resize and could make this much larger.  You could enlarge it to make a table centre piece or reduce the size as I have for your guests around the table.

Bee Mine - Valentine Matchbox Candy Holder

I am just finding LD's Nancys Valentines Day - Graphic Set so irresistible!  I decided to print the Bee Mine graphic onto the sleeve of my matchbox.

I simply imported my LD image and resized it onto the wrapper of my matchbox, using my Pazzles InVue software.  The matchbox cutting file is available in the Pazzles Craft Room Library.  Once arranged onto the sleeve of my matchbox, I Print and Cut using my Pazzles Inspiration cutting machine which has an optical eye and  reads the registration mark to ensure accurate cuts.

I then printed a paper design from LD Betty the Yeti - Paper Pack onto the base of my matchbox, which coordinated with the image on the top of the box.

I was so pleased at how this one turned out and it was quick to assemble, just perfect for an inexpensive Valentine gift.
