Just for You - using banners and a sketch

banners - docrafts

At the moment I am recovering from Pleurisy and my energy levels for crafting are minimal. I recently saw a sketch that I thought I would try it, with my new papers and Pazzles Inspiration cutting machine.

Try Stampin Tuesday -  Challenge #151 - Love Plaid

I chose a simple banner cutting file available in the Pazzles Craft Room Library and then multiplied it x4 downwards.  I then cut out my 5 banners using my Pazzles cutting machine and my recent purchase of  pretty papers from the Docraft Papermania Capsule collection.

I created my cardbase with my Pazzles software  using Kraft card.  If you are new to the Pazzles software you may wish to take a look in the Pazzles Craft Room for on-line video tutorials which show you how to make shaped cards and rounding corners (link below in supplies).

I then inked the edges using brown distressed ink and adhered my banners following the sketch.

I stamped my sentiment on one of the banners using a stamp from my craft stash.  Then, I couldn't resit using a die cut flower from the Capsule collection.  I know, I could have cut one of the flowers myself but, you do get 32 Big Bloomers in a pack that coordinate beautifully.

Wow, what a quick and simple card.  I really should try sketches more often!
