You're the balm - Valentine Gift

Here, is another cute project using an SVG file which will import into many digital cutting machines..  This file LD Build a Hero - Love Balm CP (cut project) is FREE till tonight, midnight MST.  You will also be able to purchase it when the FREE offer ends at Lettering Delights.

It is super quick to make and makes a fun valentine gift.  I actually Print and Cut the main part of the design so that the lettering was nice and clear, as I was in a hurry to finish the project before heading out to watch my daughter play in a tennis tournament all day!

I cut out the star and base part of the bomb in coloured cardstock.  I matched the heart with the same colour as the bomb and placed it in the aperture as this was surplus cardstock.

Pazzles InVue cutting machine

Valentine - Love Balm printables

Just bringing you today a FREE printable by LD called Build a Hero - Love Balm which is available this weekend till Sunday, 29th midnight MST.  It is the exact size when printed out on a home printer for you to place an EOS lip balm in the centre.

I downloaded the printable into my Pazzles InVue software. This is printable file (i.e. an image) which does not have cutting lines so you will need to create one in the centre to enable you to place the lip balm.The yellow circle is my cut line which I have created, but make sure you uncheck printable in the Cut Menu of your Pazzles software so that it does not print out with the rest of the design!  If you do not have a cutting machine you could easily use a circle punch or a circle metal die.  I rotated the design so that I could get 2 of the designs on my cutting mat.

Having printed the design using my printer, I then laid it onto my Print & Cut mat to cut out the aperture only, with my Pazzles Inspiration cutting machine.  

I used my guillotine/paper trimmer to cut around the black border.

Then place your lip balm in the centre and you have a cute valentine gift which can be
created ever so quickly in multiples if you like.

LD Calendar frame printable 2017

I have had this IKEA white frame sitting on my desk for months!  I needed a calendar to put inside and the LD Modern Calendar Poster - PR was just perfect. The printable prints out as large as 11" by 14" so big enough to have it larger as a poster on your wall.  I obviously went for the smaller version.

Just download the graphic file using the link below in supplies and select your printer options.  Go for what ever size you want to fit your frame and print out. Simple!

Of course I needed to decorated it with a couple of punched out butterflies.

Happy New Year - Top Hat Favor

Hello to all my lovely followers on my blog.  I have not been able to craft as much as I would have liked to this year.  It has been challenging on a personal level and things have been tough. As a family we have risen above everything thrown at us over the last year and stuck together as a unit. So, hoping 2017 will be kinder to us!

On a lighter note, I bring you this Top Hat cutting file project from the Pazzles Craft Room.  This particular project is from the recently launched Party Hats Cutting Collection.

 As you know I love creating 3D projects and this afternoon while the house was relatively quiet I dusted off my Pazzles and made this Top Hat project.

I did make some adjustments to the project.  I wanted the Top Hat to be open and not include the lid as in the original cutting file.  I made some quick adjustments using my software.  I also found that I needed to add several more tabs so that I could get a better curved shape to the hat as you will see in the screen shot above.

I also made the band around the hat a bit wider (1" in width) so that the bow sat better on the band above the rim. These are all minor amendments but a personal preference to satisfy the perfectionist side of me! 

I created the numbers using one of the Miss Kate Cuttables cutting files available to members of the Pazzles Craft Room.  I omitted all the detailed in-lines, and just kept the outline as I was cutting the numbers out of thick gold shimmer card.  I then attached them to some flower wire and stuck them into a blob of Blue Tac inside the base of  the hat!  I did in fact add a smaller circular base to the bottom of the hat just to give it more rigidity. Finally, I cut myself a bit of paper shredding.

Happy to be back at home in my craftroom,  I am off to prepare another project before I have to taxi my kids to and from various New Years Eve parties this evening!

My little pumpkin bag - Lettering Delights

I just love seeing the Halloween displays in the shops, so I thought I would create quick, easy toppers for some orange party bags I have had in my stash for a couple of years.  I created the toppers using the LD Pumpkin Patch - CS.  I like to use the Cut It files as I can Print and Cut them out using my Pazzles Inspiration cutting machine, OR I can cut out all the
elements and  paperpiece them.

The LD Pumpkin Patch - CS have a selection of pumpkins to create simple projects for scrapbooking, planners, parties and more.

For speed I created some 2 1/2 inch circles using my software and added a dashed border.  I then imported the pumpkins from the LD Pumpkin Patch - CS and resized to fit inside my circle.  I then Print and Cut to create toppers for my bags........so simple.

You will see that I created a little Print and Cut tag using a file from the same Cut Set, so that the colours coordinated with the topper.  I save a ton of money from buying themed stamps that I might only use once or twice in a lifetime!

I added some pretty embellishments and my Halloween treats bags were completed.

Mini Monster Box

It's been a while but couldn't resist this cute LD Mini Monster Rounded Slot Box CP which I have cut using my Pazzles Inspiration creative cutter.

I have Print and Cut the eyes to make it quicker to create multiples of the box which would look cool in a variety of bright colours.  Tho box is big enough to put a small amount of treats inside.

It is super quick to make and please view my Facebook Live video which shows you how I assembled the project .  The project is available in a variety of file formats, namely svg which is accepted by most cutting machines.
