Friend Paper Gift Bag

I have been tidying my tiny craft room and realised I made this Friend Paper Gift Bag months ago!! I used the LD Animal Boxes and Bags - Cut It Project Set to make this bag.  This is a great Cut It Project Set as you can use the set as it is or adapt as I have.  Today, I have used the 2nd box in the set and altered it slightly.  Using my Pazzles InVue software I made the top of the bag straight, with no flap.  This is easily done, by using the erase tool to delete the flap. 

Then, use your Point Move Tool - Connect 2 points.  You should have your bag without the flap ready to cut out.  

  OR, you can cut out the cutting file and just use a paper trimmer to cut across the flap.

 Incidentally, I like to remove the score lines and create my own Kiss Cut lines using my Pazzles software created with a dashed line to give a neater finish.

I imported one of the papers included in the  LD Beautiful Blossoms paper pack into my software and cut out my bag.  I added a hole using my Crop A Dial to thread my ribbon.

I wanted a coordinated sentiment with the pretty paper, so I used the Try Me Tool using the LD Beautiful Blossoms - Alphabet.  To create your sentiment you need to be logged into your account and purchase the alphabet set.  Then go to My Library - My Lettering - My Alphabets.  Select the Alphabet you want to use and click the Try Me Tool which will say you own it.  

Rather than download the whole alphabet you can just create your own sentiment.  Type in your sentiment such as Friend and save at High Resolution for printing.  Now save the image onto your computer. The sentiment will now be saved as an Image, usually as a .png file with transparent background.

Now, you can import the sentiment into your Pazzles InVue software, create an oval - group - multiply, then Print and Cut out your sentiment.  OR, you can print out your sentiment and cut it out using an oval punch.  The choice is yours, but I love making these quick digital sentiment sentiments using LD's alphabets with the on-line Try Me Tool.
