Apple for the Teacher card


The kids break up from school next week which I am looking forward to.....no school runs, no sandwiches to prepare for lunch boxes and no dashing around.  However, I will miss my crafting time over the summer weeks but nothing compares to having FUN with the kids around.


I made this shaped base card on my Pazzles Inspiration using Kraft Card.  I then layered some white linen card which I ran through my printer using some Lettering Delights fonts which turned out great and gave me the look I wanted.


I cut out this cute apple available at THE CUTTING CAFE from the APPLE SHAPED CARD template.  I then made my 1st ever paper rose, used my new seam binding and printed out the sentiment on the computer.

I hope the teachers will be happy with their 'thank you cards'!

I wanted to enter more challenges but could only find these three, so if you know of any other challenges that I could enter this card into please let me know.

    What a wonderful card. The teachers will love it. Your rose looks great and I like how you made your own pp.

    Oh this is sooo cute girly...I just realised I haven't been getting your posts...not sure what I've done but I think it happened when you switched blogs, I started following your new one but it didn't give me your new posts....anyhow, I stopped following both and started following this one again and it seems to be working now...phew!
