Just For You

School holidays, eeeeek!  Time to make a quick card, so I thought I would use my stamps that are just sitting in my craft space.  I am not a stamper but I am so pleased how this card for my 

best friend Nina turned out.

I used 5 different colours of inks mainly from Stampin Up and layered the card onto Kraft cardstock. No die cutting involved, partly because there is so much other crafting stuff sitting in front of it!

Gingerbread Treat Cup Holders

Eeek! These Gingerbread Treat Cup Holders turned out so cute!  The file was originally created for a EOS Lip Balm Holder, but here in the UK they are hard to find.  So, I thought I would adapt the file slightly, if you are unable to get your hands on them like me.

I Print and Cut the gingerbread svg file from the LD Christmas Calories (CP) using my
Pazzles Inspiration Vue cutting machine.  I paper pieced the cheeks to give extra dimension.

I resized the whole file to hold a Stampin Up Treat Cup that I have had for many years in my craft stash. The circle aperture needs to be 1.70" to fit the cup.  I filled it with orange Smarties and placed a vellum cover on the back so that they can be easily accessed.  You could use Jelly Beans or M&M's, whatever is small enough to fit in your treat cup.

Turkey Treat Cup Card

I saw the LD FREE Turkey Lip Balm cutting and graphic files available this weekend. Here, in the UK, I haven't seen these in my local shops, so I decided to adapt the project slightly using Stampin Up Treat Cups.

I have used the LD Klingelingeling - Lip Balm (CP) Cut Project file, so that I could adapt it more easily.  I also altered the brown for the turkey because when I printed it out using my printer it was too dark!  Using the cutting file enabled me to alter the colour using my colour palette to make it slightly lighter.

I Print and Cut the base design onto white cardstock.  The only part that I needed to do is alter the size of the circle that would hold the lip balm.  I measured my Stampin Up Treat Cups and enlarged the circle on the Turkey's tummy to 1.7" for a perfect fit.

Halloween Goodies Treat Bag

Sometimes, I just want to make a super quick project and use printables to give a cute effect.  Here, I have printed out the LD Little Booligan Journaling Cards (GS).

Using my printer setting I could print 4 images onto one sheet of A4.  I then cut around the image using my paper trimmer to add to the front of my bags.

I stamped "GOODIES" onto the front of my printable and used one of the spider web die cuts, both by Stampin' Up.  I cut the spider web in half and secured it underneath the top and bottom of my printable.  I then added another section of the spider web to the front of my printable (on the left)

Sometimes, it is fun to use printable journalling cards in a different way for your project.

I am a Cut It Up - Design Team Member!

I am super excited to share with you that I have been selected to be on the
Cut It Up Challenge Design Team!

Yikes, what am I doing?  Since being on the Pazzles Craft Room Design Team for the last 2 years I decided to take a break.  Only, two months later I am missing the crafting experience of being part of a team, and applied to the recent DT call out at Cut It Up ,,,,,,,and was accepted!!!!  What I love about this team is that we are like minded crafter's with a passion for die cutting machines.

So, here is my 1st Design Team project for the Cut It Up Challenge Blog using my Pazzles cutting machine.  The theme is Paper Piecing, that is to layer a patterned paper on a stamp and include a die cut in your project. So, I will explain....... 

My shaped base card is cutting file available in svg, wpc and ai file formats in the Pazzles Craft Room using the Spring Card Cutting Collection which includes a whole collection of cutting files for various cutting machines.

I cut another piece using patterned paper and adhered it to my base Kraft card. I then stamped my scallop heart and leaves onto the patterned paper.  I stamped the inner heart onto different patterned paper and coloured some of the flowers using my colouring pens.  I paper pieced this to the centre of the scalloped heart using foam squares.

I then cut out a paper bow using my Pazzles cutting machine and added a pearl embellishment to the centre.

At first I struggled with this theme as I don't own many stamps, but I am so pleased at how it turned out.  I may even make a few more for my friends!

Sketch - Plus onesie!

Just thought I would make a quick card using a sketch with my Pazzles die cutting machine.  I simply imported the sketch into my software and drew the elements.   

All elements except the pearl heart and base cardstock are Stampin Up.

I must make a note to myself to use more sketches, as they are 

fun and quick to create!
