My little pumpkin bag - Lettering Delights

I just love seeing the Halloween displays in the shops, so I thought I would create quick, easy toppers for some orange party bags I have had in my stash for a couple of years.  I created the toppers using the LD Pumpkin Patch - CS.  I like to use the Cut It files as I can Print and Cut them out using my Pazzles Inspiration cutting machine, OR I can cut out all the
elements and  paperpiece them.

The LD Pumpkin Patch - CS have a selection of pumpkins to create simple projects for scrapbooking, planners, parties and more.

For speed I created some 2 1/2 inch circles using my software and added a dashed border.  I then imported the pumpkins from the LD Pumpkin Patch - CS and resized to fit inside my circle.  I then Print and Cut to create toppers for my bags........so simple.

You will see that I created a little Print and Cut tag using a file from the same Cut Set, so that the colours coordinated with the topper.  I save a ton of money from buying themed stamps that I might only use once or twice in a lifetime!

I added some pretty embellishments and my Halloween treats bags were completed.

Halloween Notes

I love the latest LD Boo Notes (CP), which I cut using my Pazzles InVue (99.00 Dollar Special) cutting machine.  The set is adorable, with a selection of spooky cards for your Halloween invitations or note-lets.

I added an extra layer to create my own lined paper.  I drew a rectangle using my Pazzles In Vue software and duplicated some lines horizontally.  I then typed out my sentiment using the
LD Honeydukes Font.  

I Print and Cut the note with my Pazzles InVue cutting machine, using the special Print and Cut mat which recognises the registration marks for perfect cuts........so simple!

Halloween Bag plus LD Freebie

 

Here, is a little bag that I have decorated using the LD Boo - Pennants (CP) available for FREE this weekend.  You can still get the set but it will not be FREE, when the offer ends tonight.

I used the LD Boo - Pennants (CP) Cut Project, rather than the graphic set, as I wanted a more vibrant orange for the pumpkin.  I changed the colour using my Pazzles InVue software.  I then Print and Cut the pennant out.  I thought it would look neat using the pennant in a different way.

I simply stapled the pennant to my bag.  I have made some more bags for the kids using some of the other pennants in the set, so please check out my facebook page later this evening.

FREE Soctober - Booed - printables

I have quickly printed these tags out and cut them using my scissors along the straight lines.  I then layered them onto white cardstock and cut them with scissors again, leaving a white border.  I threaded my twine around the bags, having created a hole in the tag using my Crop A Dial.

Just enough tags and chocolate candy for each of my 3 kids!

Halloween Goodies Treat Bag

Sometimes, I just want to make a super quick project and use printables to give a cute effect.  Here, I have printed out the LD Little Booligan Journaling Cards (GS).

Using my printer setting I could print 4 images onto one sheet of A4.  I then cut around the image using my paper trimmer to add to the front of my bags.

I stamped "GOODIES" onto the front of my printable and used one of the spider web die cuts, both by Stampin' Up.  I cut the spider web in half and secured it underneath the top and bottom of my printable.  I then added another section of the spider web to the front of my printable (on the left)

Sometimes, it is fun to use printable journalling cards in a different way for your project.

Candy Corn Treat Box

I made this fun Candy Corn Treat Box which can be used for any time of the year.  Just switch the papers, colours and topper and you can make it into a gift box for your candy/gifts at any occasion.

The box has been created using the Squawk Box Cut It Project Set (CP). There are several different styles of boxes in the set which you can resize for various projects using your cutter software.  I made a wrap for my box using the lovely orange patterned paper.

I Print and Cut the topper using my Pazzles Inspiration Vue with the Littles Graphics Bundle (GS) or you can buy the set individually, Little Boo-ligans - Accents (GS).

Finally, I filled up my cello bag with Candy Corn and secured it with ribbon.

Boo to You - using a sketch

I'm back in blog land.......just been focusing on settling my 3 kids into school.  My youngest one (my baby) has just started secondary school and the other 2 have important academic exams this year.  It's going to be a 'full on' year but hopefully I will be able to keep my projects rolling here on my blog.  

I love this time of the year as I get to create projects using colours that I don't usually play with.  I recently purchased this set of washi tape and combined it with a sketch to make a super quick card.
