You're the balm - Valentine Gift

Here, is another cute project using an SVG file which will import into many digital cutting machines..  This file LD Build a Hero - Love Balm CP (cut project) is FREE till tonight, midnight MST.  You will also be able to purchase it when the FREE offer ends at Lettering Delights.

It is super quick to make and makes a fun valentine gift.  I actually Print and Cut the main part of the design so that the lettering was nice and clear, as I was in a hurry to finish the project before heading out to watch my daughter play in a tennis tournament all day!

I cut out the star and base part of the bomb in coloured cardstock.  I matched the heart with the same colour as the bomb and placed it in the aperture as this was surplus cardstock.

Valentine - Love Balm printables

Just bringing you today a FREE printable by LD called Build a Hero - Love Balm which is available this weekend till Sunday, 29th midnight MST.  It is the exact size when printed out on a home printer for you to place an EOS lip balm in the centre.

I downloaded the printable into my Pazzles InVue software. This is printable file (i.e. an image) which does not have cutting lines so you will need to create one in the centre to enable you to place the lip balm.The yellow circle is my cut line which I have created, but make sure you uncheck printable in the Cut Menu of your Pazzles software so that it does not print out with the rest of the design!  If you do not have a cutting machine you could easily use a circle punch or a circle metal die.  I rotated the design so that I could get 2 of the designs on my cutting mat.

Having printed the design using my printer, I then laid it onto my Print & Cut mat to cut out the aperture only, with my Pazzles Inspiration cutting machine.  

I used my guillotine/paper trimmer to cut around the black border.

Then place your lip balm in the centre and you have a cute valentine gift which can be
created ever so quickly in multiples if you like.

Valentine Love Bug Lip Balm Holders

Wow, I have had a blast making these for my kids.  They are the LD Love Sick Lip Balm Cards (PR) which I Print and Cut using my Pazzles Inspiration cutting machine.   

I imported the cards into my software and drew a circle in order to create a cutting line, where I wanted the EOS lip balm to fit.  As these are printables i.e. graphic files it is necessary to make this step, unless you have a metal die that fits perfectly over the printed hole.

Once, I had cut out my card I layered it onto a white piece of cardstock and created a hole for the Lip Balm.  I felt this gave it a bit more strength, but this is my personal preference.

To fit the EOS Lip Balm to the card, you need to unscrew the container.  Then slip the base of the lip balm behind the card and then screw the top of the container on top from the front so the lip balm is sandwiched between the card.

These love bug cards have circle centres which are perfectly sized for sphere-shaped lip balm or
candies once you remove them.

I couldn't resist making up another one!  Love this little 'chappy', he is so fun!

My daughter has been hovering to get her hands on the EOS Summer Fruit Lip Balm and the smell is making me yearn for strawberries!

Gingerbread Treat Cup Holders

Eeek! These Gingerbread Treat Cup Holders turned out so cute!  The file was originally created for a EOS Lip Balm Holder, but here in the UK they are hard to find.  So, I thought I would adapt the file slightly, if you are unable to get your hands on them like me.

I Print and Cut the gingerbread svg file from the LD Christmas Calories (CP) using my
Pazzles Inspiration Vue cutting machine.  I paper pieced the cheeks to give extra dimension.

I resized the whole file to hold a Stampin Up Treat Cup that I have had for many years in my craft stash. The circle aperture needs to be 1.70" to fit the cup.  I filled it with orange Smarties and placed a vellum cover on the back so that they can be easily accessed.  You could use Jelly Beans or M&M's, whatever is small enough to fit in your treat cup.
