Love Sick valentine shaker card

So, for Christmas I dropped some very heavy hints to my husband, that I would like a
We R Memory Keepers Fuse Tool for Christmas.......he doesn't do subtle hints!  I just had the urge to join the bandwagon and make some shaker cards.  So, here is my 1st attempt this year, using my Christmas present.  Gosh, they are so easy and quick to make with this crafty gadget, well worth it if you like making shaker cards.

I used various files from the LD Love Sick collection.  I Print and Cut the "Love Sick" sentiment onto some white cardstock. 

 I adhered the above panel to the back of the aperture (see above).

For the front of my card I typed my sentiment using the LD Jilly Nilly (Font) and added some hearts from one of the sets in the collection.

The image above shows my base card.

I cut out my circle aperture and used my Fuse Tool for the shaker part.  I added a few sequins between the plastic pockets, sealed it up and assembled the card.  In essence the shaker part is sandwiched between the front aperture card and the smaller panel.  I hope these instructions are clearer than mud!!!!!  Basically, I watched some YouTube video tutorials and created by card design using my cutter software which made it super easy.

I took one of the bug images from the LD Love Sick (CS), I created an outline to give me a white border, then Print and Cut the image out.  Love the bugs face, don't you?

Valentine Love Bug Lip Balm Holders

Wow, I have had a blast making these for my kids.  They are the LD Love Sick Lip Balm Cards (PR) which I Print and Cut using my Pazzles Inspiration cutting machine.   

I imported the cards into my software and drew a circle in order to create a cutting line, where I wanted the EOS lip balm to fit.  As these are printables i.e. graphic files it is necessary to make this step, unless you have a metal die that fits perfectly over the printed hole.

Once, I had cut out my card I layered it onto a white piece of cardstock and created a hole for the Lip Balm.  I felt this gave it a bit more strength, but this is my personal preference.

To fit the EOS Lip Balm to the card, you need to unscrew the container.  Then slip the base of the lip balm behind the card and then screw the top of the container on top from the front so the lip balm is sandwiched between the card.

These love bug cards have circle centres which are perfectly sized for sphere-shaped lip balm or
candies once you remove them.

I couldn't resist making up another one!  Love this little 'chappy', he is so fun!

My daughter has been hovering to get her hands on the EOS Summer Fruit Lip Balm and the smell is making me yearn for strawberries!
