Funky Flowers Gift Bag

Yesterday, Pazzles released the Funky Flower Cutting Collection in the Pazzles Craft Room Library.  It is ADORABLE.  I love flowers, and I can see myself using this cutting collection for several of my spring projects.  The cutting files to make the Funky Flowers Gift Bag are available in WPC and SVG file formats which can be used with various cutting machine software.

I couldn't wait to make this quick paper bag project using one of the flowers for a Print and Cut project.  Can you see the flower I have used?

I adapted a Cereal Box cutting file found in the Pazzles Craft Room Library.  I imported the flowers and layered them onto my cereal box in my InVue software. I added the 'Friend' sentiment which can easily be changed to suit the occasion.

When, I was happy with the design, I printed the bag onto slightly thicker white printer paper.  I placed it on my Print and Cut mat, then proceeded to cut it out
using my Pazzles Inspiration cutting machine.

Finally, I added a few embellishments and my pretty spring bag was created.

Stained Glass Cutting Collection

Today the Stained Glass Cutting Collection was revealed in the Pazzles Craft Room.   This is such a fun cutting collection, as there are so many creative possibilities.  Here are some suggestions on how you could use this cutting collection.......you could fill all the elements with glitter, patterned paper, use your copic pens and water colours.  You could layer onto photos or use vinyl for a decorative pattern.  Just a few ideas to get your creative juices going!!!

As soon as I saw this collection, I decided to make this simple card which I cut out using my Pazzles Inspiration Vue.  I layered 2 coordinating papers behind the overlay.  It literally took me 15 minutes to cut out and assemble the whole card!

What do you think?  I think it looks so effective.  I know it is simple, but I just wanted to share with you another way of using the Stained Glass Cutting Collection.

Birthday Card featuring 'Rip Strip' cutting collection

Last week, the Rip Strip Cutting Collection was released in the Pazzles Craft Room.  Crikey, this is an awesome interactive collection of cutting files.  They are available in svg, wpc and ai file formats, for most digital cutting machines.  We are not talking one card design but 11 separate card files!  You can also use elements of the designs and create your own
card design with a 'Rip Strip'.

You may be asking what is a 'Rip Strip', sometimes known as a 'Pull Strip'.  Well, hopefully my photos with make it a lot clearer.  You can stamp, use your pen tool, Print and Cut or handwrite your sentiment on the little strip on the front and behind the 'Rip Strip'. 

The photo above shows my stamped sentiment on the front of the strip.

For speed, I Print and Cut the Birthday Candles cutting file using my Pazzles Inspiration Vue.  I designed my own flame, which I cut out of yellow cardstock and layered using craft foam pads for extra dimension.

The above photo shows my stamped sentiment behind the 'Rip Strip' .......'On your Birthday'.  It's so cool isn't it? You could reveal all sorts of FUN messages!

Rip Strip Cutting Collection

Today, in the Pazzles Craft Room they have released the Rip Strip Cutting Collection. Wow, I am loving it!  Recently, I have seen metal dies that you can purchase, which do the same job (sometimes called a 'Pull Strip'), but now you can create 11 different styled cards using this collection.  Of course you could rearrange the 'Rip Strip' on your own card design by using different elements from the cutting collection .  You could also resize and add them
to your scrapbook layouts!! 

There is so much fun you can have with this collection with your
Pazzles Inspiration cutting machine.

So, here is a sneak preview of a card I created tonight when I returned back from work.  I will try and write a blog post later in the week.  Just use your imagination, your stamps, pen tool or hand write your message.
