Free file - offer ends today!

I decided to make a girlie version of the Spooky Pinwheel which is FREE but hurry as the offer ends today.  To get your FREE file click here for my blog post

I used the Fruit Garden Paper Pad by Tilda for the Pinwheel, a paper flower and brad from my stash.

For this girlie version, using my Pazzles Inspiration, I simply selected BREAK GROUP and removed the bat shape x4 and just left a scalloped edging!

This is how the cut file will look when you open it.
Select UNGROUP.

SELECT bat shape.
DELETE bat shape.

DELETE bat shapes on all 4 sections.
This is how the file should look now, hit cut!

Petal Collection

When I first saw this collection I did a happy dance around my computer.....I just love these and can think of hundreds of projects where I could use these cuttable flowers with my Pazzles Inspiration or any other electronic die cutting machine.

The first project I came up with was this delicate flower from the Petal Collection.

A while ago I bought some Glittered Iron On from Oyster Stamps in the UK.  It comes in these delightful colours and it is really easy to use.  I just selected my petal and imported it directly into my Studio Pro software for the Pazzles Inspiration.  I then followed the directions on the packet for the Glittered Iron On.
I couldn't resist putting it on this little baby top and then selected a rhinestone from my
Pazzles Rhinestone Kit and applied heat from my iron onto the rhinestone to secure it to the garment.

Wouldn't these make a lovely gift for someone expecting a little girl!

Take a look at all the other files below by Patricia Zapata in the collection from
Lettering Delights.  I know I am just going to have to purchase some more of these!

Freebie Spooky Pinwheel Cut It Project!

Cut out this FREE Spooky Cut It Pinwheel for your kids this holiday. Not only fun, but also makes great party decorations and handouts!

If you have a cutting machine such as a Pazzles Inspiration,  which I use, this is a great opportunity to try for FREE a Lettering Delights product.

If you have the Studio Pro software just place your cardstock on the mat, once you have downloaded the file, import directly into your Pazzles software using the SVG option.  When you see the file placed on your visual mat you can resize the file to however big you want it and CUT!

However, if you have the original software for your Pazzles you can still do this but you will have to open the file in a program such as Inkscape (which you can download for FREE) and save the file as a pdf .  Then import the file from your original software as a pdf file and CUT,  (same outcome but you need to take extra steps).

Yes, it is as simple as that and it's FREE!

Don't forget, just a few days left for our Holiday Dollar Days sale! Click here to save!

Halloween Kit at Lettering Delights

As soon as I saw this Halloween Kit by Patricia Zapata at Lettering Delights I knew exactly how I wanted my project to turn out with the help of my Pazzles Inspiration.  I didn't think it would take a few days to finish it off!  My excuse is that the kids are on half term break and we are having fun being busy, doing things together.

For the base cards I have used the  Costume Clubhouse Paper Pack.  I cut a circle for an aperture and wanted to give the card a coloured transparent feel.  But, the shops were closed and it was gone 10.00 pm!  I then had a light bulb moment....ding!  I rooted through my cupboards and found some acetate/ transparency sheets the sort they use in offices.  I placed the transparency sheet in my printer and in my Pazzles Inspiration drew a rectangle to cover an A4 area in orange and green and hit print!  There I had made my own coloured transparency sheets to match the exact colour of my chosen papers. I was soooo happy.

Then, the easy bit was to select my Cut-It's from the Halloween Kit and cut with my Pazzles Inspiration using black cardstock.

These cards fit perfectly into the box from the same set which I cut out using the same process.   These simple shapes are so quick and easy to use so why not take a look at the other sets that Patricia Zapata has at Lettering Delights........flowers!!!!

Costume Clubhouse Shaped Card

When I first saw these NEW Print & Cut files from Lettering Delights by Sheri Berry, I did a happy dance.  I am a busy mum with 3 children, husband works out of the county a lot and I am holding down a job, so I don't have time to design stuff.  Maybe, when, or if I win the lottery, I would have more time, but at the moment there are some awesome files that I can purchase for a few dollars and get cracking on making cards!

So, if you take a look at this Costume Clubhouse Gift Tags Print and Cut set you will also see lots of shaped frames (cut files) to add to your cards or even make them into shaped cards which I just love to do!

I have taken the Trick or Treat tag and printed it out from my Pazzles Inspiratation and used the cut file (next to it) to cut out around it (easy peasy).  I then used the cut file and made a bigger one for the orange layer.  I also used the same cut file to make my base card.  I made the cut file shape larger, mirrored, duplicated and welded the base card together.  I added one more large frame shape to the top of the base card because as I personally don't like to see the fold.

The Print and Cut came out really well and in some areas I just took a black pen to fill in the white around the edging but hopefully the receiver will not inspect it with a magnifying glass!

A few gems and the card was done!
To make the base card I used one of the papers from the Costume Clubhouse Paper Pack.

Lots of Treat Bags! - Costume Clubhouse

I am having such fun making projects from the NEW print and cut bundle Costume Clubhouse at Lettering Delights.  I have made these 2 printable treat bags using the Costume Clubhouse Treat Bags.  I printed out the bags from my Pazzles Inspiration and then used the cutting file to lay over the image to use the PRINT & CUT technique described in an earlier post.

So, I then decided to use some of the papers from the Costume Clubhouse paper pack to make some more treat bags using the cutting files in the Costume Clubhouse Treat Bags set (as above).  I made up the bags and then cut some strips of paper to secure the tops with a mini clip.  Of course this cutting file could be used with whatever paper you had in your stash!

I like the printable treat bags but I also like the idea of using papers with cut files.  I also added some tags from the same bundle using my Pazzles Inspiration which was highlighted HERE

Costume Clubhouse inspiration!

Have you had a chance to take a look at this HUGE Print & Cut BUNDLE called Costume Clubhouse from Sheri Berry. There is a new “print & cut” feature which Lettering Delights are trying out. Simply print the png version then cut with the help of cuttable files and your cutting machine.

I took a look at the Costume Clubhouse Paper Pack and thought it would be great to wrap a few presents showing you the gorgeous papers in the pack.  The colours and patterns in the paper pack are fun and vibrant many of which can be used at other times of the year and not just at Halloween.  I simply printed them from my printer and wrapped up the presents!!

For the tags I used the Print and Cut technique with the Costume Clubhouse Gift Tags.  If you have a Pazzles Inspiration and are struggling with the Print and Cut feature there are a few tutorials by Klo @ Pazzles.  However, the Print and Cut tutorial that works for me is the one by Richard at Cut and Creativity.

So, using Richard's Print and Cut technique I imported the tags (png) and cutting file into my Pazzles Inspiration.    I used the justification tool to get the cutting file exactly around the tag. I then selected the tag and cutting file together and adjusted the size for my project.   I have changed the cutting file to RED so that I can see it clearer.

Using Richard's Print and Cut technique this is how the layout looked before I went to print.  Remember to remove the red cutting line before you print and put it back when you place the printed paper onto your mat to cut around the tag!!!!

The cut was almost perfect and when a slight white bit of paper around the edge shows up I just use my Copics or Promarkers to touch up the gaps!

The amazing thing about this Costume Clubhouse Gift Tag set that excites me is the collection of cut file shapes.  I thought that these will be just perfect for frames and shaped cards for other projects, one of  which I will show you later in the week.

So, if you are inspired to try the Print and Cut technique with these sets
