From the Sew Stitchy Cut-Its Bundle I have used a cut it file from the Sew Spooky Stitchy set for this card. I love making shaped cards so I picked this witches hat.
I printed out some of the Sewed In Paper Pack, placed it on my mat and cut out the witches hat. I love these colours! I couldn't resist adding a bit of bling in the form of this rhinestone buckle.
Here is a peek at the Sew Spooky Stitchy set from the Sew Stitchy Cut-Its Bundle.
The Sew Spooky cut it set is my kind of spooky...a little more fun-loving and colorful. These friendly images would make great decorations for your Halloween party.Cut It files are designed specifically with cutting machines in mind. Each Cut It set includes several different file formats (ai, dxf, eps, gsd, jpg, pdf and svg). Here is a chart that shows you which cutting machines each graphic format works with. If you don't have a cutting machine, you can still use these graphics, but you will need to use a third party software program.

To Anonymous, there are a few videos by Klo http://scrappingklo.blogspot.com/ but the one that works for me is by Richard http://cutandcreativity.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2011/01/Print-Cut-Simplified-Sept-2011.pdf
ReplyDeleteGood luck Anonymous and please let me know how you get on with print and cut.
I love your witches card. I'm fairly new to LD and would like to know what size you cut the hat at and did you weld two hats together to make the card and if so, did you use a feature such as shadow or blackout and then print and cut the hat layers? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much.

Thank you for your sweet comment. I use a Pazzles Inspiration but it is the same process with MTC or similar. The witches hat is 5" x 4". In the Inspiration Pro software I used the outline feature or you may use shadow depending on the software. I then selected the larger witches hat, mirrored then duplicated it. You should then have 2 larger witches hats. Overlap them slightly and weld together. Then you have your shaped card. Easy peasy!
