Decorated Paper Bag - Pazzles March Challenge

Here, is a my Pazzles DT project, which I have entered into this month's challenge.  We were given a photograph and had to use an element(s) from the photograph that inspired us.  I have picked out the colours brown, green and pink from the photo.  I was particularly inspired by the repeating patterns in the photo so I decided to make my own printable paper for my bag using a repeating chevron design.

March Pazzles Challenge - Photo Inspiration.

I used a Cheveron Lace cutting file from the Pazzles Craft Room and printed it onto a paper bag cutting file.  

Effectively, I printed the design onto white paper using my printer and then cut out the bag using my scissors and paper trimmer.

Then, I Print & Cut the Assorted Owls (by Miss Kate Cuttables) which I found in the Pazzles Craft Room Library.  When you open the owl cutting file you will need to take time to layer all the elements but it's quite easy.  I then made an outline followed by Print & Cut.

I folded a pink doily that I had in my paper stash and added the other embellishments.

I love being able to use cutting files with Print & Cut but can't wait to get the NEW Inspiration Vue™ which will make this process so easy.

Banner Gift Box

Today, I am sharing my most recent Pazzles DT project which is a Banner Gift Box.  When I first saw this in the Pazzles Craft Room Library I wondered how it was going to look!  However, I bought some pretty Kaisercraft patterned paper and soon I fell in love with this Banner Box.  Don't you just love it when a project comes together when it is combined with a lovely cutting file and beautiful patterned papers.

Banner Gift Box & Dimensional Flower

Then I looked in the Pazzles Craft Room projects section and found a video tutorial on how to make Dimensional Flowers which included some cutting files.  I love how the flower has turned out.

Then, I used the 3D butterflies that I have used before, but resized these so they would be in proportion to my Banner Box.

Open this Banner Gift Box and it is a great size to include some treats inside.

St Patrick's Day Subway Art Printable and Toppers

Here, is are a couple of super quick St Patrick's Day projects.  I have used LD's Subway Art Printable and some St Patrick's Day svg's which I have made into cake toppers!

I printed the Subway Art Printable using my printer options and then trimmed it to size.  I layered it onto some green cardstock and secured it in my frame........so simple! Print, Cut & Frame!

For the cake toppers, I used the LD Luck of the Irish - Cut It's.  I drew a circle using my Pazzles software and used the Rhinestone feature to create my dotted rim which I coloured in green.  I then imported the LD svg images (Pot of gold and hat).  I made sure they were centralised in the centre of the circle. 

 I then printed the toppers out using my printer.  I was being completely lazy and punched the toppers out using a scalloped punch.  Of course, you could use a scallop design and cut them out using your cutting machine.  I then secured them onto a cocktail stick and inserted them into my cakes!

There you go quick, simple, fun projects for St Patrick's Day.

St Patrick's Day Tag

I have all my green cardstock and patterned paper at the ready to make a few St Patrick' Day projects over the next few weeks.  Here, is my first fun tag for a treat holder. Such a cute little image which could be added to any gift to celebrate St Patrick's Day.

I have used the LD Kiss Me I'm Irish - Cut It set which I have Print & Cut using my 

Pazzles Inspiration cutting machine.

I imported the SVG file into my software and laid it in the middle of a simple tag, then cut it out.  I then selected outline to create the layer for my green cardstock and cut it out.

I tied the tag around the top of the tube using green and white Trendy Twine. 

A super, quick project which can be created for your Irish friends or fun gifts for the kids!
