Mason Jar - Pazzles Design Team

I love how my Mason Jar card for my Pazzles Design Team project turned out this month, I even surprised myself!  The cutting file I used was pretty simple but you will be amazed at how easy it is to bring a project to life using pretty papers and dimension.

I was inspired to create this project by the sunny weather we are having here in the UK, hence the title "Hello Sunshine".  I cut all the elements using my Pazzles cutting machine and then made a simple topper using the Print and Cut method.  If you are a Pazzles Craft Room member you are able to download the files as part of your membership.  If you are not a member, you can purchase these files in svg, wpc and ai file formats for use with various cutting machines.  The files to purchase are highlighted at the foot of the blog post over on the Pazzles website.

Don't you just love this time of the year?  

This is my first Pazzles Design Team project for 2017 so I hope you like it!

As you know I like to combine Print and Cut with my projects.  Head over to the Pazzles website and grab the files to create this project.  If you are new to Print and Cut, I have made it easy for you to recreate.  I have done all the preparation for you as the files are ready to use in A4 and Letter size.

St Patrick's Day Kilner Jar

March is such a lovely time of the year, when the spring flowers begin to brighten up our days with bright, cheery fresh colours. I love how this St Patrick's Day Kilner Jar turned out and is perfect for my pretty flowers, which sits on my window sill in my kitchen.

I Print and Cut a little tag using a cutting file by Miss Kate Cuttables available in the Pazzles Craft Room using my Pazzles Inspiration cutting machine.

I painted this Kilner Jar, or you could use a Mason Jar with some bright green paint coordinating with my St Patrick's themed tag.

Just a fun St Patrick's Day project that is very quick and pretty to achieve.

Gingerbread Gift Bags

It is true to say that I love making gift packaging projects.  Since, receiving my Inspiration Vue (99.00 Dollar Special) electronic cutter, I have loved the ability to create more and more Print and Cut projects using graphics and paper pieced projects.

For my Gingerbread Gift Bags, I altered a cereal box cutting file found in the Pazzles Craft Library and created a couple of gift bags.  The gift bag on the left uses a MK - Gingerbread Girl cutting file which I Print and Cut.  The gift bag on the right uses the same cutting file which I have resized.  I have made a couple of outlines for the thin border and created a Gingerbread Girl aperture to reveal a sneak peek of the Gingerbread biscuits inside.

Birds in Nest - Print and Cut

Here, is my latest DT Pazzles project which uses a sketch and a cutting file by Miss Kate Cuttables (Birds in Nest), available in the Pazzles Craft Room Library. The sketch is found in the category Cut and Paste Sketches in the PCR. I have used the sketch to take all the hard work out of designing a card from scratch!

Here, you can see how I have Print and Cut the cute birds, which is actually a cutting file available in wpc and svg file format.

I cut these cute buttons and threaded them with some trendy twine to coordinate with the Birds in Nest colour scheme.

Easter Egg Tag - Miss Kate Cuttables

Whilst the kids are on their school holidays, I thought I would never have time to make any projects!  However, I found this cute Chick in Egg by Miss Kate Cuttables over in the Pazzles Craft Room Library and thought it would make a quick gift tag.

For speed, I Print & Cut the bottom layer of the chick.  You just need to spend a bit of time layering all the pieces, whilst referring to the copy, so that you get it layered up correctly using your software.  I then paper pieced the shell of the egg to give it egg-stra dimension cutting it our using my Pazzles Inspiration.

I also used a tag shape to layer my pieces, click image below. 

I used some twine and wrapped it round my little Kilner Jar.  I also decorated the top of my jar with some patterned paper from my stash.  I love how the lid comes apart just like the Mason Jars you see in the USA.

Finally, I filled my Kilner Jar with Haribo eggs.....my kids just love these and so do I, yummy!

Decorated Paper Bag - Pazzles March Challenge

Here, is a my Pazzles DT project, which I have entered into this month's challenge.  We were given a photograph and had to use an element(s) from the photograph that inspired us.  I have picked out the colours brown, green and pink from the photo.  I was particularly inspired by the repeating patterns in the photo so I decided to make my own printable paper for my bag using a repeating chevron design.

March Pazzles Challenge - Photo Inspiration.

I used a Cheveron Lace cutting file from the Pazzles Craft Room and printed it onto a paper bag cutting file.  

Effectively, I printed the design onto white paper using my printer and then cut out the bag using my scissors and paper trimmer.

Then, I Print & Cut the Assorted Owls (by Miss Kate Cuttables) which I found in the Pazzles Craft Room Library.  When you open the owl cutting file you will need to take time to layer all the elements but it's quite easy.  I then made an outline followed by Print & Cut.

I folded a pink doily that I had in my paper stash and added the other embellishments.

I love being able to use cutting files with Print & Cut but can't wait to get the NEW Inspiration Vue™ which will make this process so easy.

Halloween Pillow Box

Here is a little Halloween Pillow Box created using my Pazzles Inspiration cutting machine.  I have made a printable wrap and used a witches cutting file by Miss Kate Cuttables which can be found in the Pazzles Library.

There will be 20 Miss Kate Cuttables files each month for Craft Room members as well as other cutting files which are available in .wpc and .svg formats.  These files are FREE to Craft Room members.

I imported the Halloween words for my printable wrap into my Pazzles software.  I grouped the words and reduced the size to approximately 2.5". 

I selected the group of words and multiplied x2 (numbers of copies), spacing vertically then selected downwards arrow and OK.  I hope this makes sense together with the screen shot below!

Here is my printable wrap which I printed out from my software and cut using a paper trimmer.

I added my bakers twine and button to my pillow box and then added the wrap.

Finally, I cut out one of the three adorable witches shoes and stockings.

I had such fun with this project but I particularly had fun creating the printable wrap.  What is more impressive is that I love Miss Kate Cuttable files and now I have access to 20 each month for FREE as they are included in the Pazzles Craft Room (PCR) membership. 

You can become a member of the PCR even if you use another cutting machine, as all the Library and Project files are available in .wpc and .svg file formats.
