Chill Out - Popsicles - Pazzles Design Team

The theme for my Pazzles Desgin Team project was Summer Holidays!  Iced Lollies, as we call them here in the UK, or Popsicles to my USA crafting followers, immediately sprung to mine.  Who can resist a walk along the beach holding one of these to cool yourself down?  This Chill Out card is super easy to make, just a bit of layering using coloured cardstock.  I decided to add extra dimension using a wooden stick rather than cutting one out of cardstock.

I printed my wave background border and sentiment which gave me the look I wanted.

Cut It Up Challenge Blog - #75 Word or Sentiment

Here is my Popsicle Party Invitation as my Design Team project over at the
Cut It Up Challenge Blog.

Challenge #75 - Word or Sentiment as focal point

The challenge is to use a 'word' or sentiment as your focal point including
a Die Cut on your project.  

I have used a cutting file from the Pazzles Popsicle Party set, which features a variety of cutting files included in WPC, SVG & AI file formats with PDF instructions.

I used my Pazzles Inspiration Vue to cut out the elements for my project.

I altered the file slightly to make my popsicle into a shaped card by welding the

popsicle shapes together.

I cut out my layers and used white vinyl for the lettering.  I also embossed the bottom pink layer of the popsicle to add some more dimension.

For the inside of my shaped popsicle I decided to Print and Cut my invitation which makes it so much quicker when creating multiples of a project, such as party invitations.  Using my Pazzles Inspiration Vue, which has an optical eye for accurate Print and  Cut  meant that this project was quick and easy to create.

I used a wooden popsicle stick and added some simple embellishments to the front of the invitation. Kind of cute, don't you think?

Cool Popsicles

It seems an age since I posted on my blog........it's just too hot to craft here in the UK!  But, when I saw these colourful lollipops (popsicles) they just screamed out for me to add some lettering and make a simple sentiment!  This is a seriously quick card.........

I imported the Peepsicles Alpha, Cut It Set (svg file format) into my Pazzles software.  I chose the ones that spelt out COOL and then just changed the colours using my colour picker tool!

I then just typed out a quick sentiment using a font and created a cutting line for the top layer of my card for me to Print and Cut using textured cardstock.  I then made an outline and created my base card using pink cardstock.  I decided to create a soft corner to the card using the round corner tool in my software. 

This is how I laid out the design on my visual mat before I Print & Cut.  If you use a Pazzles Inspiration cutting machine, you may wish to refer to the video tutorial in the Pazzles Craft Room (Using Cutting Files for Print and Cut projects).

 Then, I added a bit of doodling around the card using a white pen.....simple.

Told you it was a quick Print and Cut project, COOL eh? (sorry about the pun!)
