4th of July goes off with a Bang!

I don't usually use primary colours for my projects but I am loving how these 4th of July projects are turning out this week using my Pazzles cutting machine.  Here I have used the Firecracker from LD's Boom-de-Yada Cut It Projects.  It was easy to put together, as I could refer to the .pdf instructions included in the set.

I love how the top came together and everything is included in the Cut It project.  I enlarged some of the stars for some added decoration.

Fun Fold Card Bases Cutting Collection

Over at the Pazzles Craft Room they have just released the
Fun Fold Card Bases Cutting Collection including accordion, step cards and much, much, more!

As part of the Pazzles Design Team I was given a file to use for my
July, Design Team Challenge Project.

In the collection there are 10 different folding cards ready to use with your cutting machine and to decorate as you wish.  For more information please click here to take you to the Pazzles Craft Room blog post.

I decided to make the Fun Fold Card Base, I was given into a Wedding Invitation.  Using Core'dinations cardstock I cut out my card base.  I embossed the white card using an embossing folder with my Cuttlebug. I cut all the other elements using my Pazzles Inspiration and files from the Pazzles Craft Room including the frames and hearts.

Then the invitation is revealed on the other side of the fold.  I have used the decorative hearts using my Pazzles Inspiration Cutter and the other the main heart as a Print & Cut for the invitation.

Are you ready for the Fourth of July?

I thought I would make some quick tags and shaped card using the Red, White and Blue theme for the 4th of July celebrations using my Pazzles Inspiration cutting machine.  

Well as I live in the UK, I thought I would join my crafting American friends in the celebrations.......any excuse to pop down to the shops and buy some jelly beans!

Jelly Beans :- Cherry, Vanilla and Blueberry....delicious!

I made this miniature 4th of July top hat into a tag using Core'dinations cardstock and some Trendy Twine 

to wrap around the top of a bottle.

Then, I made myself a simple shaped card by enlarging the file using my software.  Super easy and quick to make for invitations, parties, tags, place names etc.

LD's Boom-de-Yada sets are full of fun for 4th July.

Saying Goodbye to Google Reader and Hello to Bloglovin

If you receive my blog posts by using Google Reader you will need to change to another service like BlogLovin', as Google Reader is going to cease  from July 1st (yikes that's tomorrow).

DT projects for the Cutting Edge Magazine

Here is a PEEP at my DT projects from the latest issue of the Cutting Edge Magazine.

Just thought I would drop by to tell you why I have been a bit quite here on my blog at the moment.  Apart from busy family life, working at my local primary school and computer issues,  I have been preparing my Design Team projects for the Cutting Edge Magazine.

The Cutting Edge Magazine is dedicated to electronic die-cutting machines.  There are tips, tutorials and an Design Team members bringing you projects and a variety of templates to inspire you to use your die-cutting machine.

The Cutting Edge Magazine is available on-line with a monthly subscription.  The issues come out every two months with tons of inspiration.
