Fun Photo Ornament Tutorial!

Make this fun and easy photo ornament using the Ornament Collection Cut It Set. Using image one, follow the instructions below then begin by cutting out all the pieces.

Tutorial on how to make this Photo Ornament using your Pazzles Inspiration.

Here are the instructions how to make this ornament if you are using the 

Studio Pro Software for the Pazzles Inspiration.

However, if you have the original software for your Pazzles you can still do this but you will have to open the file in a program such as Inkscape (which you can download for FREE), select all layers and save the file with a .dxf extention (save as).  Then import the file from your original software as a .dxf file.  When the file is imported into your Pazzles software you may have to reduce the size of the file using the transformation menu.  (With the original Pazzles software there is the same outcome but you just need to take a few extra steps).

1.   If you are using the Studio Pro Software select IMPORT - SVG - select ORNAMENT and move to top of your cutting mat (just my preference).

2.   Select ornament - BREAK GROUP

3.   When group is broken - MOVE layers aside on mat.  Your mat should look like this!

4.  Select star and DELETE as this won't be required. 

5.   SELECT ornament - MULTIPY (no. of copies 1), spacing 0.5, copy direction downwards, OK.

6.   Your mat should look like this below.

7.   SELECT oval inside top ornament and DELETE.

8.   Your mat should look this this below

9.   SELECT the oval of the 2nd ornament. Change the outline pen colour of the oval to red or any colour so that it can be seen on your mat when you go to cut project.

10.   At this stage, your pieces of the ornament should look like this in your Pazzles Studio Pro software. 

11.   SELECT CUT PROJECT and this is what your mat should hopefully look like ready to CUT.

12.   Once everything is cut, adhere the pieces together and place a photo between the back solid ornament and the framed ornament. Thread some bakers twine or string through the centre for hanging.

Look what the kids gave me!

Just wanted to share with you some of my pressies I received from the children at school today.  I work as a Teaching Assistant at a local primary school in the Early Years/Reception class.

It is an open plan area with 2 classes of 30 children.  So between all my wonderful colleagues we are working with 60 children!  You can imagine the noise and mess!

It is one of the best jobs in the world, especially at this time of the year (albeit exhausting!).

I finished work today (yeah), my own 3 kids finished school, Hubby is back home and we are looking forward to a huge 'lay in' tomorrow morning! 

Alarm clocks will be unset and we will start to enjoy the Christmas Holidays together! 

Can't wait to see what's inside these pressies!
