Happy New Year

I just wanted to thank everyone here on my blog and on my Facebook Page for a wonderful year.  All your comments, likes and new followers are the reason why I continue to blog.  I love what I do and it is a great haven from all the pressures of day to day life.  

So "THANK YOU" from the bottom of my heart.

Isn't this the cutest image?  I couldn't resist making this card for you all.  I have used the image from LD Happy Mew Year (GS).  I wanted this to be a quick project as the kids are on holiday and I had to grab a few moments today while they were out of the house!

I cut a circle aperture and placed some acetate behind the circle window.  I Print and Cut the image behind using my Pazzles Inspiration and then layered it with patterned paper.

I then created my "Pop, Fizz, Clink" topper using Print and Cut and layered it 

using craft foam pads.

Perfect cut using registration marks!

Christmas Silverware Holders - VIDEO TUTORIAL

It's Christmas Eve and I am so late posting this VIDEO TUTORIAL with all the last minute pre- Christmas preparations and 3 kids in tow!  Anyhow, I have posted a video on how to assemble these Christmas Silverware Holders available in the Pazzles Craft Room.

Gingerbread Treat Cup Holders

Eeek! These Gingerbread Treat Cup Holders turned out so cute!  The file was originally created for a EOS Lip Balm Holder, but here in the UK they are hard to find.  So, I thought I would adapt the file slightly, if you are unable to get your hands on them like me.

I Print and Cut the gingerbread svg file from the LD Christmas Calories (CP) using my
Pazzles Inspiration Vue cutting machine.  I paper pieced the cheeks to give extra dimension.

I resized the whole file to hold a Stampin Up Treat Cup that I have had for many years in my craft stash. The circle aperture needs to be 1.70" to fit the cup.  I filled it with orange Smarties and placed a vellum cover on the back so that they can be easily accessed.  You could use Jelly Beans or M&M's, whatever is small enough to fit in your treat cup.

Santa Themed Christmas Crackers

I am almost ready for Christmas Day, having made these Santa Themed Christmas Crackers using my Pazzles Inspiration cutting machine. I have reduced the size of the cutting file to make them into some little favours that hold 3 chocolate balls.

I used the LD Santa Spirit (CP) which includes some adorable Santa themed projects that are easy to create with your cutting machine. The set comes in  SVG and various file formats for your cutters.  Make sure you follow the link to view all the other projects in the set.

The kids are just going to love receiving one of these.  Chocolate is so much better than a cheap plastic toy that you find in supermarket crackers!

Santa Tags

Here, I have another project using the LD Santa Spirit (CP).  Check out earlier post if you missed my Santa Card.  Very simple tags but such fun.  I like the fact that all the designing has been done and all I needed to do was cut out the elements.

It was quick and easy to make multiples of this project and I am sure the kids are going to love these on their presents around the Christmas tree this year.

Please not that I altered the buttons and used a metal die to give the embossed effect.

Decorative Bottle Tag using Christmas Printables

I have made this quick bottle tag and added the LD Simply Christmas (PR).  This file includes 3 Christmas printable images that are great for making printable posters and Home Décor projects.  Even better it is FREE till midnight tonight MST*.  You will still be able to get the set of  3 printables but they will revert back to their original price.

I imported the 'Eat Drink and be Merry' printable into my Pazzles software and resized it to fit my bottle tag.  

I printed it out onto cardstock and cut using my trimmer for speed.  I layered it onto craft foam squares and added a wooden snowflake embellishment onto a bow.

Super quick and just a different way to use these Christmas printables which make a nice gift.

Santa Card

I have made a very simple Santa Card, but it was made even more simple because I used a cutting file from the LD Santa Spirit (CP).  All the measurements have been done and there are lots of Santa paper projects included in the set.

 I changed the buttons, by using a metal die that I had in my stash which gave extra dimension to the project.  You could easily make these in bulk as they are ever so easy to assemble.
