Monster Cookie Jar

When I saw the release of the Merry Monsters here at Lettering Delights I just couldn't help but decorate this cookie jar for the kids!

I have used the Merry Monsters - Cut It's set for the monster, which I Print & Cut using my Pazzles Inspiration Creative Cutter.

I also Print & Cut the sentiment on the tag using the 

Merry Monsters Journalling - Graphic Set.

Below, is a screenshot of how the elements looked on my Pazzles virtual mat before I cut them out.

As I write up this blog post, my children are devouring the cookies......good job there is no "after" picture, crumbs are not very inspiring!

Kitchen Mixer Shaped Card

During the school holidays my 12 year old daughter has been doing a lot of baking, normally of the sweet, calorific variety! Yesterday, she helped me make cheese macaroni for tea before the boys arrived hungry from their football match!

I decided to make her a little shaped card to say "Thank You" for all her help using my Pazzles Inspiration Creative Cutter.

I picked up this FREEBIE cutting file from  A Little Hut by Patricia Zapata who is offering daily FREEBIES till Easter and they are just perfect for cutting machines.

I couldn't resist to make it pink and girlie!

Snow adorable card

You would not believe it, but I made this card several weeks ago when we were deep in snow, in the UK.  Then, I forgot to post it on my blog, which happens quite a lot, with work and family life some things just don't happen in the right order.

Yesterday morning, when I dropped my son off for swimming lessons, I decided to go for a brisk walk and clear my head........it was snowing!  I thoroughly enjoyed my 45 minute breathe of fresh air and the snow in my face.  Then, I remembered that, I hadn't posted this card.  It's funny the things you think about when walking out alone.  

I have used the Cut It's set Kawaii Kalendar (CS) together with my Pazzles Inspiration Cutting Machine.

Don't you think he is "Snow adorable?"  I made this tag and printed the sentiment using the fonts included in my cutter software.

I have used the Merriment Alpa (SV) file to make the postage stamp layer, which I thought would give a different look to the card, what do you think?

"Love Ewe" Valentine Gift Bag

Here, is my Valentine Gift Bag for my husband today on Valentines Day!  If you saw my blog post Lockets of Love Gift Bag TUTORIAL earlier in the week you will notice that  I have adapted it to make a quick Print & Cut bag using my Pazzles Inspiration with Lettering Delights.

Once I had imported my  Costume Clubhouse Treat Bags I filled it with my paper that I had saved in my Pazzles paper folder.  I selected the bag cutting line - papers - selected my chevron paper - filled in the bag.  I then imported my svg Sheep Shape Year image, selected outline and filled it white.  I then used my scissors and paper trimmer to cut around the straight edges and assembled my bag.

I used the svg greeting from Sheep Shape Rambles - Cut It set, just selected the sentiment and made my own tag.

Valentine LOVE banner

I must stop making things all pink and girlie, but I can't help it when there are such beautiful files by Sheri McCulley in the Lockets of Love bundle.

Here, I have used the Lockets of Love Letters and Lockets of Love Messages - Cut It's sets which are included in the bundle or can be bought separately.  I think the bundle is an awesome bundle, especially if you are planning a wedding, anniversary or similar celebration.

I have cut all the elements using my Pazzles Inspiration cutting machine.

I have made my banner, then Print & Cut the .svg images for speed tonight.  Although I make lots of projects, silly me left a Valentine gift to the 11th hour for my husband which I will share with you tomorrow.

I made my own banner by basically drawing a rectangle and pulling down in the centre to make an arc.  I then selected outline and coloured my inline using the colour picker tool so it matched the alphabet.  The black line is my cut line and the red outline is my cutting line for the Kraft card.

I then added some dimension using a white pen and threaded my twine through the punched holes.

Lockets of Love - Gift Bag

I so do love the NEW Lockets of Love Bundle - Cut It's at Lettering Delights.  

They are LOVELY and girlie!

I decided to make some little white gift bags which could be for the 'one you love' or as a wedding gift bag etc.

I used an old cutting file by Sheri McCulley called Costume Clubhouse Treat Bags for the bag together with 

Lockets of Love Borders - Cut It's & Lockets of Love Charms - Cut It's.

I imported the svg fancy border into my Pazzles Inspiration software
at it's original size.

Then, I rotated it 90 degrees.

I made a line guide down the front panel of my bag.

I reduced the size of my fancy border to be the width of the front of the bag.

Then, I duplicated the pattern along the width of the bag.
Select the border - group - duplicate to make the next row.

Print the bag out on printer with the pretty border.

I didn't bother to cut the bags out on my Pazzles Inspiration as it was just as easy to cut along the straight lines using scissors.

Along the top edge of the bag I wanted a fancy trim so I used my Victorian cutter in my paper Trimmer (or you could use fancy edged scissors). 

Then, I scored along all the folds....easy!  I assembled the bag together and made x2 holes with my Croc-A-Dial so that I could thread my twine and heart at the opening of the bag.

Now, Print & Cut decorative hearts.

Cut the heart out using your Pazzles Inspiration or similar cutting machine.

I threaded my cut out heart using twine and tied up the bag.  I finally added a satin bow and a flat backed adhesive pearl for the centre of the heart.

I am so pleased how it has turned out and should more of these simple bags using printer paper!
