Bug Hug canvas frame - using Bugaboo collection

I work in the Early Years (Reception) department as a Teaching Assistant in a local primary school.
 For a couple of weeks recently the whole school was inspired by a visiting children's poet called
James Carter.  

Each class in the school was required to learn a poem and the 4-5yr olds in the
Reception class learnt 'Hug Bug' as printed out on the canvas (above), using my Pazzles Inspiration with Lettering Delights graphics.
 James Carter (the poet) had an abundance of energy and was an inspiration to all the children with his wonderful poem.  

The children spent the week making bug hats which they wore when they recited the poem to their parents and the rest of the school at the Poetry Event.

It was pure joy to hear 60 children reciting 'Bug Hug'..........

 Lettering Delights released this gorgeous Bugaboo collection last week.  So, I decided I would  print out the poem and donate it to the class so that it could be a reminder of their special day.

I purchased a cheap canvas frame and using my Pazzles software imported the graphics onto my visual mat.  I then typed out the poem using LD's Cotton Candy font.

I drew a rectangular box as the frame and used the rhinestone feature in my Pazzles Studio Pro software to transform the outline into dots which I filled with my brush and pen tool the same colour.

I printed the whole sheet out onto some Stix2 Texture Mounting Sheets.  This is adhesive backed printable paper sheets with a lovely canvas texture.  I then cut  the textured mounting sheet to fit over my canvas.  You can purchase the Texture Mounting Sheets from  Flutterby Crafts.

Don't bug me! - Bugaboo sets @ Lettering Delights

Have you seen the new Bugaboo Sets at Lettering Delights?
Oh my gosh how cute are they!!!

  As soon as I saw the sets, I couldn't resist designing a t-shirt using printable transfer material with my Pazzles Inspiration.  This was my 1st attempt and it worked a treat!

I used the Bugaboo Graphic set, Bugaboo Alphabet set and a cheap white t-shirt.

I imported the graphic into my Pazzles software and the individual letters to make my own sentiment.  Then printed out the 2 images, hand cut around them and followed the instructions on the packet.

I thought it would be quite cute for an 18 month old little girl.

Pillow Box using $2 Tuesday

 Made another Pillow Box with my Pazzles Inspiration and Lettering Delights files listed below!

I am LOVING the $2 Tuesday Graphic set this week on offer at Lettering Delights.  This is not normally my sort of file but I have loved how it has turned out.  It could be for Valentine, sweets for the kids or just a gift to someone you love!

I printed out a sheet of the digital paper and laid it on my cutting mat.  Then I cut out the SVG Pillow Box in my Pazzles.  I imported the gift tag into my Pazzles and printed it out.  As on my previous blog post I had no need to PRINT & CUT as the tag was so easy to hand cut!

(the same principle can be used with a similar electronic die cutting machine)

Hopelessly Devoted - Pillow Box

 Just a reminder that the $2 Tuesday offer @ Lettering Delights will end

I thought I would use one of the graphics from the Hopelessly Devoted set which is on offer at $2.  I literally imported the image into my Pazzles software and printed the graphic.  I was going to use the PRINT & CUT technique with my Pazzles Inspiration but it was so easy to hand cut around the sentiment there was no need!

I have also used the Crazy For You paper pack which is gorgeous and can be used for male and female projects depending on how you embellish it.

The Pillow Box is one of my favourite SVG's and comes in 5 designs.
